The Iraqi Legal Database, developed by the U.N. in 2004, aims to contain every law, decree and legal text that has been passed since 1917 primarily in Arabic with some pertinent Kurdish texts. English speakers can learn more about ILD’s features by downloading this helpful Powerpoint presentation.
Update at 31 May 2009, the entries appear to run up to 2008 and then stop. There are only 3 pieces of legislation from 2008 – the 2008 Budget, the Amnesty Law and the Law on Governorates not Organised into a Region.
There is no Kurdish Legislation post dating 26 June 2007.
